Alex Podell has been an active real estate investor for over 20 years. Alex started his career at M. H. Podell Co. in San Francisco in 1992. M.H. Podell Co. is a Real Estate Development and Property Management firm specializing in large institutional quality apartment communities in the San Francisco Bay Area. For the past 45 years, the firm has exclusively focused its development in the greater Silicon Valley region. Under the name Nicholas A. Stevens Company, the firm has managed thousands of apartments built over the years and currently owns and manages 7 large apartment properties and 2 commercial properties. After relocating to London, in 2005 Alex co-founded 1849 plc., a real estate private-equity backed real estate investment platform in the Ukraine. Mr. Podell received his undergraduate degree in History from Middlebury College, Vermont in 1992.
